The fourth nor’easter that hit Dutchess County,NY was supposed to start on Wednesday morning, so all the schools closed, and our area was expecting 8-10 inches of snow and strong winds. The snow arrived between 8:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Hopewell Jct,NY received about 4 inches of snow and no strong winds and the temperature was about 50 degrees on Thursday afternoon. The newly fallen snow had melted later that day but I went hiking on Thursday morning and was able to capture the snow on my camera before it all melted.
