Mojave Rattlesnake by Koen Frantzen (Spotlight Photo) – 05/31/17

NatureGraphy’s Spotlight Photo goes to Koen Frantzen for this rattling photo of a Mojave Rattlesnake, in its classic “keep away” stance.

Mojave Rattlesnake

Last year I made this wonderful big bicycle trip from Banff Canada to the US/Mexican border. Following the Great Divide. I met this beautiful Mojave rattlesnake (Crotalus scutulatus) In New Mexico one morning, basking in the sunshine, didn’t want to get off the road into the saver shrubs and bushes. Needed a little guidance. By Koen Frantzen

Congratulations 🏆🏆🏆
